Only a day after my post on Couric's anti-immigration feature on the CBS evening news, the Wall Street Journal reports that Couric's future might be written in the stars, or at least the setting sun. The Hollywood Reporter, who knows well the lives of the stars, takes a deeper look today at the troubles facing Couric and CBS, who still remains a distant 3rd behind NBC and ABC nightly news.
Apparently, rumors are going around that Couric might be looking at Larry King's seat on CNN next year. If this is true, than The Stephens Record might be right in predicting Couric's move to follow in the footsteps of Lou Dobbs. If she takes King's spot, she'll be filling the 9 o'clock hour, right after Lou Dobbs Tonight.
